About Us The California Association of Legal Support Professionals (CALSPro) is a member-driven organization focusing on the continued enforcement of the due process clause of the U.S. Constitution.  Formerly, the California Association of Photocopiers and Process Servers (CAPPS), the association changed its name in 2008 to better represent the diverse services the members provide to the legal community. CALSPro believes that every party to an action must be properly notified of such actions. In order to accomplish this goal, CALSPro has defeated many service by mail Legislative bills through the efforts of our legislative advocate. Further, CALSPro has a Legislative Committee dedicated to reading all proposed bills and making corrective suggestions. CALSPro defines itself based on four cornerstones:  Legislative, Membership, Conference and Continuing Education.  These cornerstones provide the necessary foundation to support the members. CALSPro also prides itself in offering our very own CCPS designation. CCPS stands for CALSPro Certified Process Server.
